King Park to play Hamilton concert following the release of their latest single

Hamilton indie rock band King Park are playing at Mills Hardware on February 22nd following the release of their latest single “Listen Up Now.”

King Park’s gritty but artful sound started to get noticed in the city after their 2017 self-released debut The Light I Can’t See. The band won 97.7 HTZ-FM’s Rock Search contest back in 2018 after the release of their debut.

The contest has helped launch the careers of popular rock acts such as Finger Eleven, The Trews, and Glorious Sons.

Since their early success, the band has continued to win over fans with the basement to ceiling intensity of their live shows. And have been an up-and-coming band in Southern Ontario for the last few years.

The concert at Mills Hardware will include sneak-peaks of songs from their upcoming 2020 release Everett, which has been getting a lot of early praise for utilizing the band’s strengths.

Hamiltonians Math Club are one of the openers. The band is driven by the creativity of local singer and multi-instrumentalist Wade Morrison. They have three releases with the promise of new sound and ideas coming in the future. Morrison will be performing a solo set opening for King Park in February.

King Park be joined by fellow Hamilton band Math Club and Kitchener natives Wayfarer. The 19+ event will start at 8 pm with tickets available here
