With the Easter weekend approaching in Hamilton, a large collection of shops and businesses along Locke Street are taking part in a special Easter egg hunt for kids.
Locke Street Shops shared details of the event on social media, which will take place on Saturday, April 16th from 12 pm to 4 pm and involve nearly two-dozen of the street’s most popular spots.
So how does it work? Families with children can pop down to Locke Street anytime between 12 pm and 4 pm and visit any shop on the strip that has a large purple Easter egg decoration in the window.
🐇@Bitten_on_Locke will be one of your stops on the Locke Street Egg Hunt this Saturday, from 12-4pm!

Each spot will feature Easter treats to collect, and there will even be a few spots with activities like at Planted in Hamilton, which is the first stop on the Easter egg hunt adventure where participants can pick up their egg hunt bag and decorate it with some of the supplies provided.
Other spots on the journey include Bitten on Locke, The Burnt Tongue, The Wax Lounge, Brux House, Citizen Kid Toys, The Warrior Boutique, Footprints Music, Junkies Snacks, Pasta Mercato, and many others.
It’s an awesome idea for some family fun on Easter weekend, so head down to Locke Street this Saturday and get to hunting!
