McMaster University one of the most talked about schools on Twitter

As Canadian students get ready to head back to school, Twitter Canada has released some interesting social media statistics.
According to Universities Canada, over 1.7 million students attended a Canadian university over the 2017-2018 academic year.
As a social media savvy generation, many of these students rely on Twitter to keep up with what’s happening on campus.
Earlier this week, Twitter Canada revealed that Hamilton’s own McMaster University is a hot topic on Twitter. McMaster University is the third most mentioned school across Canada, only falling behind Queen’s and Western.
Not only do McMaster students use Twitter to their full advantage throughout the school year, but Twitter’s also a great tool for orientation week.
McMaster’s welcome week is jam-packed with seminars and events. By jumping on Twitter, you can find fun events both on and off campus that suit your interests.
