It’s always fun to see Hamilton on the big screen, and a new horror movie features multiple noteworthy locations in the Hammer.
Thanksgiving is a 2023 horror film directed by Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) that stars Patrick Dempsey, Gina Gershon, and TikTok influencer Addison Rae. It had a theatrical release in November 2023 and is now available for streaming at home.

Hamilton plays the part of Plymouth, Massachusetts in this grisly, darkly funny slasher flick that sees a mysterious killer concealed by a John Carver mask as he targets town residents who played a part in a tragic Black Friday stampede one year prior.
Notable clear shots of the Hammer include Barton Street near Birch Avenue, the exterior of the Cotton Factory on Sherman Avenue North, and Waterdown District High School at 215 Parkside Drive.
Thanksgiving was a critical hit, holding an 84 per cent rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Roth has said a sequel is in the works, but no word yet on whether production will return to Hamilton!
