Hamilton is about to get a new restaurant specializing in traditional, authentic Italian cuisine.
Parma and Piccolo will be a two-in-one operation for delicious Italian eats opening soon on King William Street as part of Restaurant Row.
Parma itself will be a sit-down establishment for “traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist” according to a job posting for the restaurant on Indeed.
Locals can expect hearty, rich, comforting pasta dishes and made-to-order pizzas built with locally-sourced ingredients. A curated wine list and a contemporary-yet-rustic setting will complete the picture.
On the more casual side of things is Piccolo, which labels itself an Italian sandwich bar and will surely feature some enticing handmade handhelds perfect for takeaway.
Though an opening date hasn’t been set and details on the menus are currently scant, signage in the window of the forthcoming restaurant on King William Street indicate that Parma and Piccolo are aiming for an early summer 2023 launch.
We’re keeping our eyes peeled for updates on this intriguing new Hamilton restaurant!

22.06.2023 7:06 pmDoes Hamilton really need yet another Italian food eatery? I’d be much more excited to hear about a new Polish, German, Korean or Japanese food restaurant!
