New Restaurant 33 Bowen Opening Next Week

Unique Restaurant Group, the team in charge of popular Hamilton restaurants such as The Pheasant Plucker, The Augusta House, Southcote 53, and The Powerhouse, will be opening their latest venture 33 Bowen next Saturday on January 13, 2018.

The space, which formerly housed Slainte Irish Pub, dates back to 1844 as an original structure “constructed by James Bradley in 1844 on lands purchased from none other than George Hamilton” according to their website.

When it opens, Hamiltonians will be able to browse a menu that consists of some fairly unique menu offerings such as Pan Seared Duck Breast, Beef Cheek Ravioli and Braised Short Rib Poutine. Handheld meals such as burgers, bahn mi, reuben sandwiches and grilled cheese will also be available.

We’re excited to see new life being brought into this historic building and we trust Unique Restaurant Group will do a great job with the space.

Plan on being there for the grand opening? Let us know in the comments below!
