A popular Oakville restaurant with rustic vibes and a menu of small plates, elevated pub-style dishes, and cocktails is gearing up to open a second location in Hamilton.
Plank Restobar, with a flagship location at 67 Bronte Road in Oakville, will be opening the doors of a sister spot in the Hammer as part of the Augusta Street strip, joining other night-life spots like The Ship, B-Side Social, and the Pheasant Plucker.
An array of shareable small plates stands out prominently on Plank’s menu, with twisty dishes like duck poutine, sliders, Korean-style egg rolls, and butter chicken arancini on offer.
Larger entrée-style plates include options like a fried chicken club sandwich, a decadent steak frites, pan-seared Atlantic cod with accompaniments, and a roast chicken pasta with cream, mint, and Pecorino cheese.
Some tempting house pizzas, desserts, and cocktails round things off here, with a menu that’s eclectic, playful, and chef-driven.
An opening date for Plank Restobar’s first Hamilton location is still to be announced, but follow the restaurant on social media for updates!
