As the fall season approaches and the leaves begin to turn to their brilliant autumnal colours, some of Hamilton’s most beautiful hiking destinations are returning to a reservation model for visitors.
As of September 23rd and lasting every day through the fall, the highly popular Dundas Peak, Tew Falls, and Webster’s Falls will require visitors to book a slot in advance at a rate of $10 for a reservation, $11 per car, and $5 per passenger.
The need for reservations comes from an overwhelming, ever-increasing demand for visitors who want to take in the stunning scenic views at these popular spots in Spencer Gorge Conservation Area throughout the fall season.
To ensure a smooth experience for the conservation area and its guests alike, the reservation system ensures a controlled stream of visitors at this peak time of the year.
Each reservation includes a 2-hour time slot and must be made online in advance up to a week before the desired timeslot and up until midnight the day prior to your visit.
When booking online, guests can select the Spencer Gorge tab and make their reservation for one of two spots: Dundas Peak & Tew Falls, and Webster’s Falls.
See more and book your reservations on the Hamilton Conservation Authority website.
