Popular Caribbean food spot reopens in new Hamilton location

A beloved spot for authentic Caribbean comfort food has officially reopened in its new home.
Ellis Kitchen was formerly located at 455 King Street East where it had served up dishes like jerk chicken, oxtail, beef patties, and so much more since 2018.
That restaurant closed its doors a few months ago, but has gratefully reopened in a fresh new spot at 148 Ottawa Street North in the Crown Point neighbourhood.
At the new restaurant, locals will find all their usual Ellis Kitchen favourites prepared by owner and chef Sophia Anglin, from jerk chicken to curry chicken to oxtail to fried chicken to saltfish to curry goat.
