Songwriters in the Round makes music at The Pearl Company

Local music fans should count themselves triply lucky this week, as three exciting singer-songwriters are jointly presenting an intimate concert this Thursday night at The Pearl Company.
The line-up for Songwriters in the Round includes Shawna Caspi, Corrina Keeling, and Jeff Giles; three accomplished folk musicians and long-time friends banding together for one night only to make music and share their diverse, singular talents with a warm Hamilton audience at The Pearl Company, a local gem intended to close its doors for good last year but that will gratefully remain open for the foreseeable future.
What makes the concert extra intriguing is its intimate, communal setting: each musician will perform in-the-round for a small audience surrounding the action from all sides. Add to that The Pearl Company venue’s worn industrial charm, and it’s clear attendees will be in for a very personal and special evening of music.
With an emphasis on connecting with the community and alleviating barriers to attending, ticket prices have also been kept quite low: $20 is the general admission cost, with $15 tickets available for students, seniors, arts workers, and the underemployed. On top of that, Songwriters in the Round promises not to turn anyone away due to lack of funds.
So, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t check out Songwriters in the Round this Thursday September 26 at 8 pm at The Pearl Company. Unless you hate music. But who really hates music?
