Works of art will be on walls and in cups at a brand-new Hamilton café and art gallery seeing its grand opening this weekend.
Crown & Press is a new spot at 303 Ottawa Street North launched by local visual artist Julia Veenstra, promising an ever-changing collection of Canadian art on display surrounding a gorgeous art deco-inspired coffee shop for sips and bites.
The café and gallery soft-launched a few weeks ago but will see its official grand opening this Friday, June 16 at 5 pm with live music, coffee, wine & beer, cocktails, baked goods, and the works of more than 30 Canadian artists on display curated by Veenstra.
This striking new addition to the Crown Point neighbourhood will be one of Hamilton’s largest coffee shops, with a bright and inviting space perfect for perusing some beautiful art while sipping a latte or nibbling on a fresh-baked cookie.
Crown & Press is sure to become one of Ottawa Street’s standout spots and we can’t wait to pay our first visit!
Check out their grand opening celebration on Friday, June 16th at 5 pm, and follow them on social media here.
