Popular pizza place in Stoney Creek closes its doors

A Stoney Creek pizza place that was well loved by locals has sadly closed its doors. 

Regina’s Pizza has been an independently-owned, Hamilton-area favourite for six years, serving up reliably tasty handmade pizza, wings, and other comfort fare.

They were also one of the only pizza joints in Hamilton who served up Detroit-style pizza: a style of pie characterized by its square shape, thick base of crust, and crispy, cheesy edges. 

However, in spite of their strong local reputation, Regina’s Pizza has sadly announced that they have closed their doors permanently at their 48 Leckie Avenue takeaway spot. 

“We have made a decision to move on from the pizzeria. We have much to be thankful for,” wrote Regina’s Pizza in a post on social media. 

What might be next for the folks behind this popular spot remains to be seen.
