Sweet Jesus ice cream shop opening at Lime Ridge Mall

Ice cream lovers, this is not a drill! Sweet Jesus is arriving to Lime Ridge Mall and Hamilton is going wild over the news.
The Toronto-based ice cream shop, popular for their insanely over-the-top creations, is making its way to the Mountain’s main shopping centre sometime this summer (no word on exactly when, however).
What can you expect from Sweet Jesus? Well for starters, there’s nine rad soft serve flavours to choose from including “Hella Nutella” (wafer cookie, Corn Flakes, & Nutella sauce), “Rocky Road Rage” (marshmallows, chocolate sauce, walnuts, cashew & Oreo cookie crumble) and “Red Rapture” (red velvet cake, cream cheese icing, raspberry sauce & meringue crumble).
This is in addition to a variety of cakes also available for purchase (of equal levels of epic), as well as pints of ice cream that you can take home.
While some locations do offer espresso-based drinks and hot chocolate, the Lime Ridge location will unfortunately NOT be one of them.
Sweet Jesus looks to be expanding quickly with at least 5 other Ontario locations opening soon, according to their website. With crazy creations like this, though, it’s no wonder that the demand can support their growth.
You can find this Hamilton location on the main level across Old Navy in the former Rogers site (they moved to the second floor if you’re wondering).
