Playful small plates, creative cocktails, and chill vibes are on the menu at a new Hamilton tapas bar that has freshly opened its doors.
The District Tapas + Bar is now open to guests at 61 Barton Street East, in the former home of The Butcher and the Vegan which has been sitting vacant for the past six years.
Now, the space is being revived by a restaurant that already has a strong reputation at its flagship location in St. Catharines, known for a menu of internationally-inspired small bites, share plates, and entrée dishes.
While The District hasn’t shared its Hamilton menu yet, visitors can likely expect similar dishes to the St. Catharines restaurant including tapas offerings like smoked duck bao, steak frites, avocado bruschetta, Korean-style BBQ short ribs, pork belly skewers, loaded gnocchi, whipped ricotta and beet salad, and so much more.
Pastas, sandwiches, large plates, and desserts round things out, complemented by a menu of craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
We’re intrigued by the diverse menu at The District Tapas + Bar and can’t wait to check them out ourselves!
