The 11th Annual AGH Film Festival starts tomorrow night

Hamilton’s largest festival of international, independent and Canadian films starts tomorrow, kicking off with the opening night screening of the Toronto International Film Festival hit film Pain and Glory.

Over the last decade, the Art Gallery of Hamilton has welcomed a diverse collection of over 300 films. The massive event has also historically drawn more than 50,000 attendees and over 100 community partners and sponsors.

The 11th Annual AGH Film Festival takes place from October 17th to 27th with a packed schedule of world-class film that was announced at their Trailers and Teasers event back in September.

There are many different ticket packages options for all types of film enthusiasts including the aptly-named Film Lover All-Access Pass, a Festival 10-Pack, and single tickets.

The AGH Film Festival also includes special events where visitors are put through an immersive experience to compliment some of the film screenings.

Screening locations take place at different theatres throughout the city. The Lincoln Alexander Centre, Cineplex Cinemas Ancaster, Westdale Theatre and Playhouse Cinema all join the Art Gallery of Hamilton as official screening locations for the festival, filling the city with the best in local and international film for a jam-packed 11 days.

The AGH website has all the information visitors need on film schedule, ticket sales and special events.
