A Tim Hortons in Hamilton saw two very unexpected visitors turn up one evening recently.
Two escaped horses – Sunny, aged 1.5 years and Dusty, aged 32 years – hoofed it to Hortons overnight on February 15th, leaving their home for a “whimsical adventure” according to a post from the Hamilton Police.

Thanks to some snow on the ground, police were able to track down Sunny and Dusty by following their hoof tracks to a property in the area of Middletown Road and Regional Road 8 in Flamborough.
“Kudos to our amazing community for helping keep them safe,” wrote the Hamilton Police in a post on Twitter.
The two horses were returned safe and sound to their owners in the morning, albeit without the donuts and coffee they so clearly craved.
