Last Santa Standing
When: Friday December 20th, 2019 from 7 pm – 9 pm
Where: Staircase Cafe Theatre

The Plaidiators are back for their final show of the year! An improvised Christmas show, come by to see your favourite improv team performing for the shockingly low price of only $5!
Wannabe – A Spice Girls Tribute
When: Friday December 20th, 2019 from 8 pm – 11 pm

Canada’s premier Spice Girls Tribute Band, delivering epic waves of 90s nostalgia. Great holiday treat for that Spice Girls Wannabe! When it comes to celebrations, epic dance parties and conjuring up serious 90’s nostalgia, no one does it better than the darlings of Toronto’s cover-band scene. This 11-member outfit is a staple in venues, festivals and soft seaters across Canada.

It’s A Wonderful Life
When: Saturday December 21st, 2019 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Sunday December 22nd, 2019 from 1:55 pm – 4 pm
Where: Playhouse Cinema

Winter Solstice Festival
When: Saturday December 21st, 2019 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Where: Corktown Park
Admission: Free
Winter Solstice Festival beckons the return to light on the eve of the longest night of the year. Revelers are invited to join in the parade of light with LED lanterns and battery powered light along the rail trail where you’ll encounter spectacular projection art installations. There will be stilted dancers, puppets, a mobile percussion machine, music, fire entertainers, culminating in a huge fire finale to light up the night. Planted in Hamilton will be there with delicious hot beverages and snacks, and Cons & Kernels with their criminally good popcorn. A family-friendly event for all ages.
Winter Solstice Bee Ball
When: Saturday December 21st, 2019 at 7 pm
Where: Shawn & Ed Brewery
Admission: $20. Buy tickets here.
Join Humble Bee at Shawn & Ed Brewery in Dundas to celebrate pollinators and raise funds for Wildlife Preservation Canada and their efforts in pollinator conservation. They will have great raffle prizes, music, food, honey and drinks including mead, wine, beer, honey beer, and more!
5th Annual Hess Village Community Dinner
When: Sunday December 22nd, 2019 at 1 pm
Where: Gown & Gavel
Admission: Free
The Annual Hess Village Free Community Dinner is back for a 5th year. Bar & restaurant owner’s of Hamilton’s entertainment district are happy to bring this back every year along with the support of community friends. Anyone who is hungry, without family or a warm place to eat a holiday meal is welcome to come by Hess Village for a hot dinner and beverage.

Rockin’ In Your Stockin!
When: Sunday December 22nd, 2019 from 7 pm – 10 pm
Where: This Ain’t Hollywood
Admission: $8 with food drive donation.
The holidays are here, and so is the need to feed our community and make sure those food bank shelves are stocked. There will be a great evening of music featuring Black Eyed Barbie & The John Atlee Band providing a fresh soundtrack of classic rock with a twist. They will be accepting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Hamilton Food Share.
