Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Look no further. We’ve found a wide range of events across the city for all ages and interests to enjoy.

Here’s what’s happening in Hamilton this weekend.

Saturday

Hamilton Fringe Festival

Welcome to the fifteenth annual Hamilton Fringe Festival! Accessible, playful and engaging, the festival is an action-packed performance event that takes place every July.

Boasting more than 50 companies offering up musicals, dance, comedies, magic shows, dramas and family entertainment, there are nearly 400 performances to choose from.

With all different venues, Hamilton Fringe Festival’s performance times, prices, and age restrictions vary. The festival’s full schedule is available on their website, as well as a link to purchase tickets.

Stuff the Bus Food Drive

Hamilton’s food banks are continuing to face a summertime shortage. To keep up with the city’s ongoing demand for goods, let’s give back by participating in Neighbour to Neighbour’s Stuff the Bus food drive.

Taking place at Fortino’s on Mall Road, help completely fill a bus with donated non-perishable food items. In previous years, this campaign has brought in over 33,000 pounds in food donations. If we work together, we can surely top that number.

The campaign takes place between 9 am and 4 pm. Please only donate non-perishable goods.

Hamilton Ti-Cats vs. Ottawa Redblacks

It’s game day in Hamilton as the Tiger-Cats prepare to take on the Ottawa Redblacks. Get outside, enjoy some Saturday afternoon football and cheer on your home team.

The game takes place at Tim Hortons Field and begins at 4 pm. Tickets are available online.

Hermitage Ruins Ghost Tour

Love learning about Hamilton’s ghostly history? The Hermitage Ruins ghost tour is sure to give you all of the spooky knowledge you crave.

Being in a forest surrounded by the ruins of a haunted mansion is the perfect opportunity for telling ghost stories. On the tour, you will learn about Ancaster’s famous legends, a doomed coachman, and local places for dark rituals.

The tour takes place at the Hermitage Ruins on Sulphur Springs Road. Adult tickets are $15 and are available online. This tour welcomes all ages, but be aware that some content may be considered mature. The tour is for entertainment purposes only.
