Wild Waterworks opens this weekend

Hamilton, it’s time.

We endured a long winter for weather warm enough to bust out the bathing suits. That’s why we’re thrilled to share that Hamilton’s Wild Waterworks is reopening the park this Saturday, June 9th to the public.

Opening weekend hours will be 11 am – 8 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Note that for the weekdays immediately following this weekend, the park will remain closed. It’s only until NEXT weekend (June 16th) that the park will commence daily operation.

For the uninitiated, Wild Waterworks is home to six waterslides, a lazy river and a wave pool. In fact, the wave pool is one of Canada’s largest with “over five million litres of heated water splash[ing] down every minute”.

There’s a splash pad for kids as well as food stands that serve classic ‘theme-park’ foods like pizza, hot dogs, chicken fingers and funnel cake.

General admission is only $26.35 with a discounted sundown rate (ie. for those entering after 4 pm) of only $14.44. Children ages 3-10 can get in for $17.21 with a sundown rate of $12.63
