Canna Cabana is opening a store in Burlington on Wednesday

High Tide Inc. has announced that they will be opening a new Canna Cabana location on Guelph Line in Burlington on Wednesday, May 27th.

This marks the sixth branded Canna Cabana location in Ontario – with one location already in Hamilton on Barton Street – and High Tide’s 35th retail location in Canada.

The Burlington store received a Retail Store Authorization (RSA) from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario on May 12th and passed its pre-opening inspection on May 15th. The store was one of only 10 retailers to receive RSAs issued in the first half of May.

With the new store located at 2400 Guelph Line, Canna Cabana is one of six brands owned by parent company High Tide. The company is known for offering a sophisticated but playful customer experience.

“Conveniently located in a shopping centre between the QEW and 407 highways, we are excited to open the Burlington Store and bring our signature Canna Cabana experience to new customers in the densely populated, west end of the Greater Toronto Area,” said Raj Grover, President and Chief Executive Officer of High Tide in a press release.

High Tide expects to open four more Ontario locations by September 2020, which would bring them to the provincial maximum of 10 retail locations allowed per operator.

Cannabis retailers were given the go-ahead to reopen with strict health guidelines in effect last week by the Ontario government.
