A craft beer and mac ‘n cheese festival is coming to Hamilton

If you’re idea of heaven is a room full of craft beer and mac ‘n cheese, then boy, do I have good news for you: Hamilton’s hosting one this weekend.
The 2019 I Heart Beer Festival marks its return to the Hamilton Convention Centre this Saturday December 7th with a special holiday edition, bringing you dozens of Ontario’s best craft breweries all in one room and offering pairings of delicious, delicious mac ‘n cheese.
By attending one of two sessions (one from 1 pm to 5:30 pm, the other from 6:30pm to 11 pm), Hamiltonians can buy tokens and sample beer to their heart’s content, provided by craft breweries from all across Ontario including Black Swan Brewing, Trestle Brewing, Nickel Brook Brewing Co., Redline Brewhouse, Red Circle Brewing, Sons of Kent, Anderson Ales, and many more.
Then, because drinking beer works up an appetite, multiple food purveyors will be on site dishing out all kinds of mac ‘n cheese awesomeness, courtesy of a partnership with Dairy Farmers Ontario. Some of the numerous local restaurants at the event will be Tall Tree Sandwich Co., Saltlick Smokehouse, Big Daddy Bacon, Smoke & Candy Barbeque Co., and Electric Diner.
Pro tip: rich and creamy mac ‘n cheese pairs particularly well with a nice fruited sour or clean, crisp farmhouse ale.
