A new spot for Indian street food just opened in Hamilton

Hamilton’s got a pretty solid scene for Indian cuisine; and now, a new spot for Indian street food is joining the party.

Chaat Spot is now open at 1356 South Service Road in Hamilton, serving up bright, delicious, and flavourful Indian street eats from bowls to wraps and other tasty snacks.

The restaurant serves casual takes on popular Indian dishes and flavours like biryani, samosas, tandoori chicken, and more in the form of street vendor staples like Frankie Rolls, which are open-faced wraps with a gravy on the side for dipping; and filling rice bowls loaded with chutneys, fresh vegetables, and a choice of protein.

Chaat Spot also has an enticing menu of sweet offerings including house-made drinks like mango shakes and sweet pistachio lassis, and a handful of snack-sized items like crispy spring rolls, pani puri bombs, pakora dippers, and more.

With vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and halal options available as well, there’s basically something for everyone at this new Hamilton spot that’s sure to become a tasty fixture of the local food scene!

Check out Chaat Spot’s website for a menu, and follow them on social media for more.
