A winter storm is going to hit Hamilton tomorrow

Break out the winter boots, Hamilton: the city is expected to see a bout of nasty weather tomorrow.

According to a weather warning issued by Environment Canada, snowfall and possible freezing rain is expected to begin around midnight this evening and continuing into Wednesday morning.

Around Wednesday afternoon, the snowfall is forecasted to become its heaviest, potentially impacting driving conditions for commuters heading home from work later in the day.

By Thursday, Hamilton is expected to have seen somewhere between 10 cm to 20 cm of the white stuff; by no means a considerable snowstorm event, but enough to make outdoor conditions a little rougher through the day nonetheless.

Leave yourselves a little extra travel time tomorrow or, better yet, stay home with a book and some board games!

Continue checking Environment Canada for weather updates.
