There’s no question, the main issue in this race is transit. Every day, someone has something new to say on the topic–new evidence concerning the “truth” of LRT, or new accusations about misleading information or hidden documents.
But trying to keep up with the he-said-she-said of transit in Hamilton is getting a little tiring.
So here’s what Hamilton voices themselves have to say about the issue.
But wait, we definitely don't need LRT. Ridership is low. #Sarcasm #HamOnt @JoeyColeman @RyanMcGreal pic.twitter.com/8Qtvu5UfdY

Calgary built LRT and Ottawa built BRT around the same time. Calgary LRT is expanding while Ottawa tries to upgrade its BRT to LRT. #HamOnt

Well, would you look at that? I happened to find some LRT files while cleaning my desk, too. #HamOnt pic.twitter.com/DnvCQwKREn

Brad Clark plays the electorate for fools. Don't reward him with your vote. #HamOnt

Short answer? YES, definitely. "Clark says city misled on LRT, but did Clark mislead over documents?" http://t.co/p5XsLYdG00

Brad Clark says he got city LRT memos thru FOI. Prove it. Let's see the FOI letter releasing them. An Integrity Commissioner issue? #HamOnt

@adr @qui_oui to turn down LRT because it's too nice for us is exactly the attitude holds #HamOnt back as a livable, desirable community.

@ericgillis I have never been on the bus in Hamilton, but if they add the LRT, I'd take it every day.
