Circle of Life Cremation & Burial Centre of Dundas takes a personal approach to funeral services

Funeral planning is never an easy or pleasant thing to think about, but an independent small business in the Hamilton area has made it their mission to make the often daunting process as comfortable, compassionate, and personal as possible.

Circle of Life, with an invitingly bright and modern facility based in Dundas, is a family-owned and operated funeral home and cremation centre that endeavours to do things a little differently than most traditional funeral homes. Circle of Life offers all funeral services, including cremations and casket burials, at a fraction of the cost and allows clients to move at their own pace during an undoubtedly difficult time.

“Feel free to speak to us about our services by phone, in your own home, or at our offices,” explains Karin Schuett, Owner of Circle of Life and a Class 1 Licensed Funeral Director of 14 years. “We’re here to help you make decisions that are right for you, on your terms.”

For Circle of Life, that means cultivating a unique, refreshing approach to funeral and memorial services that recognizes how deeply personal and individual a celebration of life is, and that no two clients will have the same needs.

“Our mission is to provide families with a uniquely different experience, respecting the way families wish to honour a loved one, and being mindful of their budget,” says Schuett.

With the guidance and expertise of a staff featuring leaders in the field – including their official Comfort Care Coordinator, Emma, the Miniature Schnauzer – Circle of Life also goes out of its way to find affordable options for its services in an effort to cut unnecessary financial stress out of a stressful time.

Circle of Life has much to offer including: funeral design, ceremony services,  designing tribute videos and memorial websites, as well as offering a wide selection of caskets, urns, keepsakes, jewellery, scattering tubes and memorial products. Circle of Life does all of their work with exceptional sensitivity and skill, while also keeping costs down and using locally sourced and eco-friendly products wherever possible.

“We are an independent Canadian company that supports like-minded businesses both locally and across the country,” says Karin. “We offer merchandise that is made locally and mindfully, lessening the impact on our world with products like biodegradable caskets and urns.”

Karin ensures that a very high level of care and attention is present in all of what Circle of Life does on a daily basis and strives to do everything feasible to ensure that the funeral arrangement process is as far as possible from being the hardest part of losing a loved one.

Circle of Life is located at 100 King St E, Dundas.
