Finalists announced for Downtown Hamilton’s Win This Space contest

After intensive deliberations from a jury made up of Hamilton business owners and city officials, three finalists have been selected for the Downtown Hamilton BIA ‘Win This Space’ Contest.
A competition intended to bolster exceptional small business owners in downtown Hamilton, the Win This Space Contest will award the winning business $30,000 in free rent for one year to take up residence in an office space downtown.
On top of the main prize, some other businesses in the Downtown Hamilton BIA have offered additional rewards including a gift card and monthly bag of coffee beans from Redchurch Café, a mesh office chair from Lordly Jones, and a gym membership courtesy of GoodLife Fitness in Jackson Square.
The three finalists this year are Hub of the Hammer, The 3rd Realm, and Sharp End Studios. Each of the three companies made it through multiple levels to reach the finalist stage, starting with a submission of videos for jury review and followed by a business plan.
The third and final stage before the selection of one winning company was interviews with this year’s judges, and the official Win the Space winner will be publicly announced on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30 pm.
