With the season of viral spread in full swing and our healthcare capacities stretched thin, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) has opened a dedicated clinic for COVID-19, cold, and flu treatment.
The clinic, serving both adults and children, is located at SJHH’s West 5th Campus on the Hamilton Mountain in the campus’ Medical Outpatient Clinic.
“The goal of this dedicated clinic is to provide both adults and children with timely care. while reducing the number of patients visiting emergency departments for respiratory illnesses commonly seen throughout the fall and winter,” reads a release from SJHH.

SJHH advises locals requiring care for their cold, flu, or COVID case to book an appointment at the clinic if they cannot see (or do not have) a family doctor, are experiencing related symptoms that don’t improve within a few days, and do not require emergency care.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm. Appointments must be booked in advance through the SJHH website; walk-ins will not be accepted.
Those who are experiencing a medical emergency are urged to call 911 or visit an emergency department.
