Hamilton craft beer bar is closing its doors

One of Hamilton’s most popular craft beer bars has announced its plans to close its doors.
Mosaic Bar has become a Barton Street staple in its few short years of operation, serving up curated Ontario craft beer, simple bar snacks, and regular events like trivia and comedy nights.
However, regular patrons and casual visitors alike were saddened to hear the news shared by Mosaic on Wednesday morning that the beer bar’s last day of operations will be April 13th, in line with their fifth anniversary.
“To all our incredible customers: Thank you for making Mosaic your go-to spot for good beer and good times. Your support and patronage has meant the world to us,” wrote the bar in a post on social media.
“Let’s raise our glasses one last time. Swing by to say farewell over the next few weeks. It’s been a wild ride.”
A specific reason for the closure has not been made public, but regardless, Mosaic will be deeply missed at its 431 Barton Street East home. Pop by for one last pint before April 13th!
