Hamilton soup spot The Burnt Tongue is hosting a special art exhibit

One of Hamilton’s favourite lunch spots is branching out by offering a special, one-night-only art gallery with a twist.

The Burnt Tongue is a ridiculously popular spot for handmade soups, stews, burgers, fries, salads, and more; but did you know that their staff is loaded with talented visual artists working in numerous mediums?

That’s why the soup spot has created The Slurp Gallery: an art exhibition showing off the handmade wares from The Burnt Tongue’s talented family of staff members.

Original artworks from paintings to drawings to embroidery will be on hand on Friday, February 11th at 7 pm at the 10 Cannon Street East location, all made by Burnt Tongue employees from the Cannon, Westdale, Locke, and Dundas locations.

Locals who drop by on Friday evening can grab a bite to eat while they admire the art on display and get to see a fresh side of the friendly faces at The Burnt Tongue!

The Slurp Gallery kicks off at The Burnt Tongue’s 10 Cannon Street East location at 7 pm on Friday, February 11th.
