Hamilton watch brand unveils exciting new series of wristwatches

A Hamilton watch brand has announced a new series of wristwatches based on their first-ever model, the James, inspired by the city’s rich heritage.
Locke & King has grown as a Canadian watch brand after first releasing The James in Fall 2021.
Named after Hamilton’s iconic James Street, the model sold out the following year, finding customers both locally and internationally.
This new series of The James brings back the model in three new colour combinations, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique aspects of Hamilton’s heritage.
Every Locke & King watch is meticulously constructed using premium materials, including surgical-grade stainless steel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-glare coating.
The company was founded in 2020 by Hamilton entrepreneur Ryan Moran, following the loss of his job in travel and tourism marketing due to the impacts of the pandemic.
Having always loved watches, Moran dreamt of creating a Canadian timepiece company that reflects Hamilton’s “roll up your sleeves” character, making classically designed mechanical watches for everyday heroes to “make their own time.”
Since then, Locke & King has already proven popular among collectors and casual buyers alike, selling out some of their models both across Canada and the world.
“Hamilton is our home and our story, and we wanted to create a collection that continues to capture its essence,” said Moran. “With the new series of the James model, we aimed to continue to showcase the city’s rich history, grit, and the unwavering spirit of its people. We are excited to offer our customers a piece of Hamilton’s legacy on their wrists.”
