There’s a new tiny home experience by Hamilton’s Confederation Park

With the brand new Confederation Beach Sports Park opening this summer, the hidden gem that is Hamilton’s Confederation Park, is becoming the city’s latest hot spot for beachside fun.
An exciting new listing on Airbnb aims to take advantage of all that fun by offering a cute cottage-like getaway in a tiny home situated by the waterfront.
The tiny home has already earned a 5.0 star rating based on 11 reviews and includes features like a waterfront view, queen-sized bed, oversized shower, and indoor sauna.
Outdoor amenities include a barbeque, gazebo, lounge chairs, and hammock chair swing.
Most notably is the large pond the property backs into with a private yard by the water that includes views of Lake Ontario.
The pond is home to many varieties of fish as well as turtles ranging from small to absolutely massive.
Confederation Park is also a popular spot for bird-watching as various bird species rest in the area after travelling over Lake Ontario, which only adds another layer of nature wonderment to the stay.
If you’re looking for something to do nearby, the tiny home is four minutes away by foot to the Waterfront Trail, which is a multi-use pedestrian pathway that connects Stoney Creek to Downtown Burlington. The paved, car-free trail runs along the waterfront for 12 kilometres and is perfect for biking, rollerblading, or walking.
Along the Waterfront Trail are many attractions including restaurant staples like Hutch’s on the Beach, Barangas on the Beach, and Crooksy’s. For entertainment, there’s 12 new pickleball courts, tennis courts, a cricket field, mini-putt at Adventure Village, go-karts at Lakeland Kartway, and several children’s playgrounds.
Then there’s the actual beaches themselves which start off rocky in Stoney Creek and gradually turn to a finer sand as you approach Burlington.
Availability at the tiny home appear to be limited for the next few weeks with the calendar opening up more by early-August.
