Hamilton’s Festival of Friends will have an all-Canadian music lineup for 2022

Music fans, get ready: Hamilton’s annual free outdoor festival with live music, vendors, food, and more is making a full return for 2022.
Festival of Friends hasn’t been able to host its usual large-scale event since before the pandemic began. In 2021, they were able to pull off a special one-day Concert in the Park event as a smaller version of the usual summer staple.
However, the festival in all its glory will be returning to Hamilton’s Gage Park from July 29th to 31st, 2022; and this time, the organizers are teasing a music lineup of 100 per cent Canadian artists.

It’s an excitingly homegrown approach that feels especially meaningful after the pandemic brought more than 2 years of significant impacts on Canada’s live music industry.
Though the 2022 artists are still a secret, the Festival of Friends has indicated that they’ll be announcing the full lineup this coming Friday, which has led to locals taking a guess at which Canadian artists they think will be taking the stage at Gage Park this summer!
