Fast food fans of Hamilton have a brand-new smash burger spot to sink their teeth into.
Hottie’s Smashburgers has officially opened its doors at 657 Barton Street East, right beside Hendry’s Barbershop and housed in an eye-catching black and pink façade.
A Toronto transplant now making its home in Hamilton, Hottie’s specializes in indulgent smash burgers, hot dogs, loaded fries, sundaes, and more fast food style comforts made with quality ingredients.
The flavourful burgers are smashed flat on the grill, resulting in a patty with a crispy outside and a juicy interior. Their signature Hottie burger is then loaded simply and effectively with American cheese, tomato, pickle, house burger sauce, and grilled onions.
Other variants include the Hottie Toddie, which adds bacon, white cheese, pickled jalapenos, ghost pepper sauce and house ketchup to the equation; and the Impossible Hottie, which lets vegetarian and vegan foodies get in on the action with a plant-based smash patty.
Fries come in a variety of styles, from standard to cajun-seasoned to loaded options like the chilli cheese fries or the Hottie Style with grilled onion, pickled jalapeno, cheese sauce, and house burger sauce.
