New cheese and charcuterie shop opens in Burlington

Cheese and charcuterie lovers have an appealing new shop in Burlington to splurge at.
The Fat Mouse opened its doors at 468 Brant Street earlier this year, with the business having launched in 2022 at its original home in Oakville.
The boutique specializes in a wide selection of curated cheeses with something for everyone: local and international offerings range from mild and creamy to intense and complex.
In addition, The Fat Mouse endeavours to be a one-stop shop for charcuterie, offering meats like salumi, prosciutto, mortadella, and Iberico ham; as well as other accoutrement like jams, olives, pate, dips, and beyond.
The shop even provides curated charcuterie boxes for those who don’t have the time to build their own board, ranging from single serving sizes to boxes with enough food for as many as 20 people.
