New restaurant The Standard is opening in Hamilton

An intriguing new restaurant is about to open its doors in Hamilton and is officially taking reservations.
The Standard will be opening soon at 10 James Street North in the lofty space that most recently held Southern spot Ray’s Food & Liquor and Union Chicken.
The restaurant has been sharing its renovation progress on social media for a couple of weeks, showcasing an interior design that’s classy and modern with the promise of a fully stocked bar and craft beer on tap.
The menu recently posted to their website promises an enticing array of share plates and entrees, from charcuterie to meat-forward dishes to pastas and so much more.
