New spot for Brooklyn-style pizza opens in Hamilton

Pizza lovers looking for a fresh fix are sure to be beyond intrigued by a new pizzeria that recently soft-launched in Hamilton.
Tony G’s Pizzeria, located at 30 John Street North by the corner of John and King William, is a new spot specializing in enticing Brooklyn-style pizzas made with exceptional ingredients and craft.
With an owner that previously worked in local kitchens like James North’s Born and Raised, the pizzas here are clearly driven by quality, with a sauce base made from hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes.
The toppings are just as thoughtfully curated, making use of well-sourced ingredients like whole milk mozzarella, Calabrian olive oil, Infornata black olives, fresh Grana Padano, and more.
The pizzas come as simply as simply as a New York-style pepperoni pie, or something more involved like the OG Hammer-Town Deluxe, loaded with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green pepper, sauteed cremini mushrooms, sweet red onion, and Pecorino Romano.
Joining the ranks of higher-end speciality pizza places in Hamilton like Shorty’s Pizza, Cowabunga, or Flora Pizzeria, we can’t wait to check out Tony G’s and get our first tastes!
Tony G’s Pizzeria is currently soft-launched and open from Wednesday to Saturday, 4 pm to 11 pm for walk-in orders (and cash only!).
