New spot for Caribbean fusion food opens in Hamilton

A new Hamilton restaurant endeavours to combine upscale vibes and flavourful Caribbean fusion cuisine.
Island Queens is now open at 158 Kenilworth Avenue North, serving up an attractive menu is Island-influenced small plates and entrees alongside creative cocktails and more.
Some of the dishes on hand include a classic jerk chicken with rice and slaw, braised oxtail, Escovitch snapper fish, a signature burger, a fusion pasta dish, pineapple fried rice, and shareable bites like spring rolls and sliders.
Hamilton’s got its share of spots for Caribbean food, but Island Queens is unique in its efforts to offer a more elevated dining experience; something a little different from the usual no-nonsense takeaway fare.
Already gaining some strong reviews from locals, Island Queens is a new spot we can’t wait to check out ourselves!
