Rage Against the Machine is coming to Hamilton

Heads up, music fans: iconic rock band Rage Against the Machine is coming to Hamilton.

Headed out on their first tour together since 2011 after being on hiatus for the last 9 years, American hard rockers Rage Against the Machine are travelling worldwide for their Public Service Announcement Tour, which includes a stop in Hamilton at the city’s own FirstOntario Centre on July 21st, 2020.

Rage Against the Machine will be joined by rising rap duo Run the Jewels as their opener for much of the tour, who will be promoting their forthcoming album RTJ4, set to be released in the spring.

Formed in Los Angeles, California in 1991, Rage Against the Machine has established itself as an iconic band in the world of rock music, with multiple Grammys and other accolades to their name.

Their self-titled debut album, released in 1992 to massive acclaim, was even included on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

The band’s seven-month world tour kicks off in March in El Paso, Texas, and concludes in September in Vienna, Austria. It’s going to be an unmissable concert event, so make sure you grab those tickets quickly!

Tickets for the Hamilton stop of Rage Against the Machine’s Public Service Announcement Tour go on sale on Thursday, February 13th, and will be available here.
