Someone drove a car through the front of Cannon Coffee in Hamilton

One of Hamilton’s most popular coffee shops is closed until further notice after someone drove a car through their front window early this morning.
Cannon Coffee Co., located at the corner of Cannon and Ottawa Street North, recently moved into a brand new expanded shop at 180 Ottawa Street North just across the street from its original home at 179 Ottawa Street North, now occupied by poke bowl spot Poké Co.
The coffee shop shared news of the incident via social media on Thursday morning, adding that everyone is okay but that the café will have to remain closed until the building is safe to work in again.
Amazingly, this is not the first time this has happened to The Cannon; a car also drove through its front façade at its original home back in September 2020.
The blindsiding incident drew heaps of community love and support, and the motorist in question was ultimately charged with impaired driving.
