Stunning light art installation is coming to Hamilton

A stunning art installation of lights and sounds is happening in Hamilton throughout November.

Sonic Runway takes place at Hamilton’s Pier 8 from November 1st to 26th, featuring a 432-foot corridor of 25 large rings of audio-responsive LED light.

Within that corridor of rounded archways, music signals and light patterns play off each other in lively synchronization, creating a spectacular show created by Rob Jensen with Warren Trezevant and produced by Creos.

Free to attend, Sonic Runway is best experienced between 5 pm and 10 pm when the light and sound components will be activated and shown off in all their glory in the darkness after sundown.

In addition, select nights of Sonic Runway will feature additional performances and community events, including a Hamilton Day celebration on November 3rd, a street dance performance by Republic Dance Co. on November 4th, salsa dancing with SalsaSoul Productions on November 12th, and more.

It’s going to be a can’t-miss winter event in Hamilton, so head down to Pier 8 nightly from November 1st to 26th to check out Sonic Runway!
