Well-loved Hamilton sushi spot has closed its doors

A Hamilton-area spot known for its sushi and other delicious Asian-inspired fare has closed its doors.
Seoul Fine Food, located at 53 Wilson Street West in Ancaster, officially opened back in Spring 2021 and quickly became a local favourite for fresh sushi, sashimi, poke bowls, soups, share plates, Korean dishes and more.
However, a few months shy of its second full year in business, Seoul Fine Food has sadly announced that it has permanently closed as of January 9th, 2023.
“Thank you for your loyal patronage over the particularly difficult two years,” wrote Seoul Fine Food in a post on Instagram.
“With your help we were able to become one of Ancaster’s most popular eating establishments.
We wish you all the best for a happy and prosperous future.”
Comments on Seoul Fine Food’s social media announcement quickly poured in, with many locals saying the restaurant was a favourite in the Hamilton area and expressing how much they’ll miss their exceptional food.
