The former Home Outfitters store on the second floor of Lime Ridge Mall has been pegged as the location for the Tesla centre, according to a non-binding letter of intent between Tesla and Cadillac Fairview that was shared to social media in mid-January.
The space will serve as a showroom for Tesla vehicles, as well as a centre offering standard Tesla servicing including software updates, battery replacement, dent removal, and tire balancing and alignment.
Details on next steps for the Tesla centre are still to come, but the facility is also poised to create approximately 50 new jobs upon completion.
