Here’s what’s happening for Canada Day in Hamilton

The Canada Day long weekend is upon us, and the City of Hamilton has some big celebratory plans. 

Canada Day at Bayfront Park will be a free, all-ages event loaded with games, food, activities, live entertainment, and much more throughout the day.

Taking place on Saturday, July 1st from 1 pm to 10 pm, locals can enjoy a food truck rally, bouncy castles, a sports zone, strolling magic, balloon animals, stilt walkers, face painting, and live stage performances including music, juggling, and more. 

The day caps off, as expected, with a brilliant firework display at 10 pm to cap off Canada Day in proper fashion. 

But that’s not all that’s happening in Hamilton for Canada Day weekend: It’s Your Festival will also be taking over Gage Park from July 1st to 3rd with even more live music, food, vendors, activities, and fun.
